Tool	Description
Wellbore Hydraulics	This program performs friction and hydraulic calculations to predict the bottomhole pressure for any given injection scheme as a function of the wellhead pressure and the injection rate. Given the depth(s) and tubing (strings) and perforation diameters it calculates the hydrostatic head, the frictional pressure drop through the tubing or annulus and the pressure loss in the perforation and crushed zone. The program also takes into account whether the formation is fractured or not.
Historical Plots	This program enables the user to plot various parameters stored within the historical files (what is a historical file?). As a whole, this program performs limited calculations except to delineate certain basic trends and features. The Hall Plot and Averaging Method are also included with this tool. The program also enables the user to individually view, highlight and compare the performance during varying injection periods, as well as the influence of particular water sources.
PWRAD	What does the model do? Single phase, radial flow. The model tracks the water front and damage using a finite difference solution. The loss of permeability is assumed as k/k0=1/[1+(aV/A)n]. k/k0 is the ratio of the damaged to the initial permeability, V/A is the cumulative flux and ? and n are model parameters, which can be determined by matching the model to field or laboratory data. The damage parameters can be varied in time to account for changes in water quality and/or filter changes, stimulations etc.
Soft Sediment Completions	This tool allows user to optimize completion types for soft formations with interactive specifications of reservoir and operational parameters.
Wellbore Crossflow	This tool can be used to predict wellbore crossflow from one injection zone into another on shut-in. This is a commingled layered situation implying no in-reservoir crossflow.
Multilateral Injection	This tool is a spreadsheet program injection in up to six zones in two laterals (or motherbore alone).
Multi-rate PTA	The Multirate PTA tool .can be used to refine conventional step rate test analysis. In most cases SRTs are analyzed without considering the immediately preceding pressure alterations due to the preceding injection stage. The tool uses superposition (Odeh and Jones) to more precisely represent the pressure response. This tool incorporates standard Step Rate Test plots as well as the refined PTA calculations and appropriate plots.
WellStress	WellStress calculates the change of tangential stress resulting from pressure and temperature changes around a well during production or injection. Input includes results of two-dimensional, single well simulations or any other two-dimensional r-z variation.
Stimulation Selection	This program calculates the injectivity change that is associated with a given stimulation (or workover) activity - correlating it to the damage that had occurred prior to the stimulation and the rate of injectivity decline before and after the stimulation. Values that are calculated can be stored in the database and recovered later as a reference for similar treatments on analog wells.
DAMAGE	Represents fracture tip plugging, and the development of external and internal filter cake for a fracture.
Multi-Fracture	To calculate injectivity index for multiply fractured horizontal wells in order to estimate the injectivity increase expected from different configurations of fractures.
Damage Skin	This tool calculates two measures of damage (plugging) in the formation and/or completion, based on pressure and rate field data
